Botox and breastfeeding
Because there has been no studies to establish the safety of Botox during pregnancy or during breastfeeding, it is probably best to wait until after done breastfeeding.
However, numerous women have accidentally gotten their Botox treatment prior to them knowing they were pregnant without any problems.

Botox safe after pregnancy
Botox is safe to use after delivery, however, if you are breast feeding it is recommended that you do not use Botox.
There are no known adverse events to a breast feeding infant as a result of Botox to mom while breast feeding, however, there are no controlled studies.
It is known that a great number of women have ignored this warning and received Botox while breast feeding. The same holds true for receiving Botox during pregnancy. There have been no studies, there have been women who have purposely or accidentally received Botox while pregnant, and there have been no reports of fetal injury from these imporper uses of Botox. Can I Get Botox During Breast Feeding?
My patients that are used to Botox always want to know if they are allowed to do Botox while pregnant or nursing. The medical studies are not conclusive but we DO NOT recommend Botox during these special times of your life.

I do not recommend Botox while pregnant or breastfeeding. However, as soon as you stop breastfeeding you may be injected. Or, as soon as you deliver if you are going to use formula and not breast feed you may be injected.
I will say from personal experience that if you are pregnant and undergo Botox and you have not realized you are pregnant , the chances are great that the baby will be fine. How long after pregnancy before Botox injections
Botox injections should not be done while breastfeeding. There are no studies done as to whether Botox is is safe during breastfeeding, and although the likelihood is small, it’s not zero that some of it may get into the milk and be ingested by the baby.

Botox while breastfeeding, basically a no go.
If you are not breastfeeding after pregnancy, Botox is safe. If you are breastfeeding I wouldn’t do it. If there is even the tiniest risk to your baby, which there could be, it’s just not worth it.
