Biography: I’m Eileen Duong. I’m a Dental Assistant here at Broadway Dental. I have been with this practice since December of 2014. I enjoy working with my team and having the opportunity to expand my dental career. I am on my way to continue my career in dentistry, and eventually, become a Dental Hygienist. One can say that I had a great experience in this field, because while growing up, my family dentist was an absolutely amazing professional. What I love to do on my free time is hiking, shopping, traveling, and spending as much time with people important to me. I am the type of person who works hard and never gives up with anything I do in life.

Biography: My connection with dentistry is an interesting one. As a child, I had a bad experience with a dentist, which led to my fear of visiting another one. In fact, I did not go to a dentist until I was twelve year old. Thanks to my parents who talked me into going, the new doctor put me at ease and helped me forget my fear. The positive experience sparked my fascination with the dental field, and after graduating high school, I started my studies towards hygiene. In 2012, I graduated from West Coast University and began working. What I love most about my job is interacting with my patients and educating them on how to maintain a healthy oral cavity. My goal is to put my patients at ease, and help them feel comfortable coming to the dental office. When I’m not working, I like to spend my time outdoors; hiking, camping, or just traveling, reading books and learning new things.

Biography: I attended Dental School in Cuba (1997 – 2001) and then went on to West LA College to complete the dental hygiene program. To maintain my license and build on my skills, I regularly participate in continuing education courses. What I love most about my job is educating patients as well as seeing their confidence through their smiles. I truly enjoy treating a patient as a whole, and contributing to the overall health and wellness of our patients. Dental hygiene is an ever-changing vocational field that will give me the opportunity to evolve and grow in my career. The knowledge that is gained from the profession can be used throughout one’s life in many different ways.
I love Broadway Dental Office because we offer our patients in Glendale advanced equipment, we are a great team, and we all want the best for all of our patients.
I recently became engaged, and when I am not in the dental office, I am busy preparing for my wedding, which is a lot of work!
