Botox minimizes motion. Restylane fills in crevices. If the prominent deep forehead or glabellar wrinkle is the main problem, Restylane or another filler will minimize or remove the wrinkle. In the crow’s feet area, Botox is usually preferred because it weakens the muscles that cause the crow’s feet when you smile or squint, as you do when taking photos for a wedding.

The best example of the synergism of Botox and Juvederm or Restylane is the glabellar wrinkle (between the eyes). The filler fills the line,the Botox relaxes the muscle that pulls the eyebrows together. Without the Botox the filler will breakdown quickly because of the movement.
